Australian Pool Rescue Championships
Congratulations to Arcadian Surf Lifesaver, Stefaan Demopoulous who competed recently in the Australian Pool Rescue Championships at the Australian Institute of Sports in Canberra. His results were outstanding. Congratulations to Stefaan and his support team for your all your hard work.
1st 200 metre Super Lifesaver with an Australian record.
1st 50 metre manikin carry, also an Australian record
1st 100 metre manikin tow, also an Australian record
3rd 100 metre manikin carry
In the team events, Stefaan also picked up 1 gold and 2 bronze medals!
He has been named in the Australian team to head to New Zealand at the end of October.
